Sean Gustafson's Home Page

Hello and welcome to my personal website. My name is Sean Gustafson and I am a computer science PhD student in the Human-Computer Interaction Group at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam, Germany. My advisor is Prof. Dr. Patrick Baudisch. Prior to coming to Germany I completed my M.Sc. at the University of Manitoba HCI Lab with Dr. Pourang Irani. For my specific research interests please see my projects page.

Previously, I worked as a Embedded Software Engineer specializing in software for medical instruments running the QNX Realtime Operating System. You can browse my commercial projects page for more information on projects I contributed to while in industry.

Apr.04/09At the CHI Conference in Boston. I will be presenting the paper Tilt Techniques: Investigating the Dexterity of Wrist-based Input on Thursday morning.
Feb.01/09Started PhD program with Patrick Baudisch at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam, Germany.
