This is a list of the more significant trips I have been on. I love to travel and share my experiences with others. I have lots of pictures and some travelogues that I will add to this page as I prepare them.

Italy - 3 weeks, April 2008

Travelled to Italy for the 2008 CHI conference in Florence. Following the conference I toured southern Italy, including Sicily, for two weeks.

Bay Area, California - 2 weeks, Spring 2007

Attended the CHI 2007 conference in San Jose, followed by a week in San Francisco.

Western States - 2 weeks, Spring 2006

Travelled from California to Manitoba via Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Camping and hiking in Yosemite, Redwood, and many other wonderful parks along the way.

Cuba - 1 week, Winter 2005

Beach resort vacation with a day trip to Havana.

Cross Canada - 2 months, Summer 2004

Crossed the continent twice: Manitoba to BC, BC to Newfoundland, and back to Manitoba. Visited every province (no territories) and every capital city. Most of it by bus -- Wow, Canada is big!

West Coast Trail - 2 weeks, Summer 2003

Hiked the incredible West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, BC.

Western Europe - 2 months, Summer 2002

Fairly standard western Europe rail backpacking. England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Austria, Germany, Holland, Belgium.
